Privacy
We run a free audit on a public store. That needs very little data, and we keep it that way.
What we collect
- The store address you enter. We need it to fetch the store’s public pages and its archived copies.
- The audit result. The list of pages found missing, redirected or untested, and when the audit ran.
- Your email address, only if you type it in. Leaving an email is optional — the audit works without one.
We only read pages that are already public. We never ask for your Shopify password, and the audit never needs access to your admin.
Why we collect it
The store address and the result let us run the audit and show it to you. If you leave an email, we use it to answer you about your store and, if you asked for it, to tell you when the backup app opens. Nothing else.
How long we keep it
Twelve months, then it is deleted. Results are also cached for under an hour so that re-running an audit doesn’t hammer your store or the public archives.
Who else processes it
- Vercel — hosting and serving this site.
- Discord — internal notifications, so we see that an audit ran or that someone asked for help.
- Stripe — payment processing, if you buy a restoration or a subscription. Card details go straight to Stripe; we never see or store them.
- Namecheap Private Email — our mailbox, if you write to us.
What we never do
We do not sell your data, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not use it to build profiles. There is no advertising tracker on this site.
Having your data deleted
Write to hello@lostpages.app and ask. We delete it and confirm. You can also ask for a copy of what we hold, or ask us to correct it. No justification needed.
